About This Guide

My Rhyl was created to provide honest, useful, up-to-date information about Rhyl — a town that is often dismissed in guides that haven't actually visited it, or painted in nostalgic colours that bear little resemblance to the place as it actually exists today. We try to be neither promotional nor dismissive: to tell you what is genuinely good, what has closed, what is being built, and what Rhyl actually feels like to visit in 2026.

The guide is independent. We do not accept payment to include attractions or businesses, and we do not suppress negative information because it might upset local interests. If something is closed, we say so. If something is worth visiting, we say that too.
